Legally Brown: The Search for the Next Piragua Guy

 

"Legally Brown" is an original web series recapping the season-that-never-actually-was of the fictional reality show "Legally Brown: The Search for the next Piragua Guy."

The Contestants: Derrick (The Little Mermaid), Hunter (Title Of Show), Cheyenne (Xanadu), Allison (9 to 5), Telly (Rent), Norm (The Little Mermaid), Matthew (South Pacific), Noah (South Pacific) and Eliseo (In The Heights) were Broadway actors looking to land their next big supporting role in an already running Broadway musical.

The Judges: Bernie Telsey (Casting Director) Quiara Alegría Hudes (In The Heights Writer, Pulitzer Prize Winner) and Rickey Tripp (Broadway's It Boy) were on hand to provide much scrutiny and motivation (in that order) along with Guest Judges Andy Blankenbuehler, Janet Dacal, Andréa Burns, Robin DeJesus, Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the incomparable Seth Rudetsky. The whole spectacle was hosted by the ever-lovely Asmeret as Asmeret Duff!
